New Member Period
The New Member program is a six week experience designed to allow new members to explore the world of Sigma Delta Tau. They have the chance to learn about sorority life and SDT, while growing with the many new friends and leadership opportunities available to them. The new members learn about the sorority's history and traditions, along with having plenty of opportunities to bond with the other girls in their pledge class and other active members of Sigma Delta Tau. There are mixers with every pledge class, sisterhood events with all SDT actives, and plenty of socials and mixers with other UT greek and non-greek organizations.
Hazing is against SDT policy and is not permitted! Hazing is any action taken or situation created, intentionally, whether on or off fraternity premises, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment or ridicule.
