The Sisterhood of Sigma Delta Tau!
Texas Sig Delts are more than just a bunch of sorority girls – we’re sisters! Whether it is a girl’s movie night, having fun relaxing, or spur of the moment trips to TCBY for ice cream, we just can’t get enough of each other!
One of the great advantages of being in SDT is that we get the chance to know everyone in our sorority. When we see a girl walking down the street in an SDT shirt, we don’t say, “Oh – she’s in our sorority?” We shout a big hello and wave.
To further our sisterhood, we have different activities throughout the year to spend time and get to know each other better. This past year we went to Austin Rock Gym to go rock climbing, went kayaking, filled a room with shredded up newspaper and got to lounge on it as we watched Mean Girls, and ended the semester with a bang with a lawn party complete with a slip-n-slide and plenty of snack food! It was a great finals studying interruption.
